Creative Technology Studio: Intermediate Animation II was a studio course that focused on collaborative short film animation projects. .
For this project, all 10 students in the studio were tasked with creating a promotional video for an actual client. We spent a majority of the semester working together to develop, storyboard, and pitch the concept as well as animate the final product.
It was a challenge to coordinate between all of the people involved in the process, especially since many tasks were interdependent. Strong leadership, clear communication, and clear organization helped us stay on track and work well together. My main roll included modeling and animating the submarine plus rendering backgrounds for scenes that involved the sub interior.
Through this project, I learned how to work with a client, collaborate within a larger team, and stay organized during a complex, long-term project.
