Animated Music Video Clip | Pack in Animation Club | Personal Project
Pack in Animation is an on-campus club that provides collaborative educational and entertaining experiences relating to animation.
For this project, club members collaborated to create an animated music video. I was given a 12 second music segment, for which I modeled a character and environmental model, then rigged and animated the character with the help of Mixamo. My clip was combined with others to form the final video.
One of the main challenges I had while working on my clip was combining my animations with Mixamo’s motion capture, which required me to edit the motion capture animations to create smoother transitions between movements.
Through this project, I learned to use Blender’s constraint tools like “Follow Path” and “Track to” to support complex animations and dynamic camera movements.
