Creative Technology Studio: Intermediate Animation I was a studio course that focused on collaborative short film animation projects. 

In this project, two of my classmates and I were tasked with researching a community animating an ad for something that would address a problem that community might have. We chose to focus on a doggy daycare for an apartment complex.I was responsible for modeling the backgrounds and editing the final video.. 

Since we worked on separate animation elements it was a challenge to stay cohesive, especially between 2D and 3D. One specific problem was tracking the 2D dog animations to the 3D background and camera. We found a variety of ways to work through this including animating over the backgrounds and integrating the 2D elements directly into 3D scenes. 

Through this project, I learned how to find and combine preexisting models to work quickly under tight deadlines. I also learned techniques to better integrate 2D and 3D animation.
